Genesis Kahveci (*1998) is a visual artist and photographer whose practice explores the entanglement of body, identity and media — negotiating intimacy and performance, shame and self-empowerment. Her work focuses on queer visibility, gender as a fluid construct, and the role of materiality and technology in processes of identity formation. Through photography, installation and performance, she engages in a self-reflective engagement on power, representation and the aesthetics of becoming.
