Datamorphosis (2021)
Datamorphosis (2021) is based on a single portrait of myself, which I transformed using FaceApp into a series of variations. Through changes in hairstyle, makeup, and facial features, I created multiple versions of one image, each reflecting shifting forms of feminine expression and self-perception.
At the time, I was experiencing dysphoria related to my appearance, and the process became a way of engaging with possible versions of myself. The series reflects on the relationship between real and virtual identity and the emotional impact of digital image transformation on how we see ourselves.
